Earlier in August, CM Maryam Nawaz praised the Pakistan Army, rescue teams, and administrative ministries for their continuous and unrelenting efforts in carrying out what she called the “largest rescue mission in the history of Pakistan.”
Maryam Nawaz underscored Punjab flood relief during the flood meeting, noting that India had released flood waters and that nearly “600,000 people and 450,000 animals” had been relocated to secure areas during the intense monsoon downpour.
