GAZA: On Monday, Israel attacked Khan Yunis’s Nasser hospital in the South with an explosive drone and air strike that caused 20 casualties, including five journalists.

Israel’s continued massacre of the Journalists:

Israel’s massacre of the innocent Gaza people continues. There is no one to stop the brutality of the Israel occupation in Gaza. Globally, people are protesting, and the World’s Humanitarian foundations are also raising their voices to safeguard the rights of the people of Gaza.

Israel, with the full support of the US, is unstoppable. It’s been 2 years, and the genocidal attacks on Gaza have not yet stopped. Reuters, Al Jazeera, and The Associated Press have issued statements regarding the current assassination of their contributors by an Israeli strike.

The Israeli military has always targeted Journalists in its attacks in Gaza. Since the attacks have started, it has always targeted innocent media persons and given lame excuses that the assassinated persons were part of the Hamas group that is propagating against Israel.

Whatever reason has been given by Israel lacks concrete evidence. On Monday, Israel again targeted Khan Yunis’s Nasser hospital. The Israel military has targeted this hospital multiple times.

In its recent assault, 20 people lost their lives. Among these 20, there were five Journalists, who were performing their duties with full honesty. Civil Defence Spokesman, Mahmud Bassal, said, “The toll so far is 20 martyrs, including five journalists and one member of the civil defence.”

Bassal informed that Israel has launched a drone and an air strike to target the hospital when the wounded were being evacuated.

Agencies condemned the murder of the media persons:

Reuters condemned the incident and talked about the martyrdom of its video journalist, Hussam al-Misri, who was operating a live feed when Israel targeted the hospital. The agency said, “A live feed suddenly shut down at the moment of the initial strike.”

It condemned Israeli occupation for its assault on its contractors, in which one contractor, Hatem Khaled, was injured. Reuters issued a statement that said, “We are urgently seeking more information and have asked authorities in Gaza and Israel to help us get urgent medical assistance for Hatem.”

Al Jazeera also confirmed the assassination of its photojournalist and cameraman, Mohammad Salama. The broadcaster said in a statement, “Al Jazeera Media Network condemns, in the strongest possible terms, this horrific crime committed by the Israeli occupation forces, who have directly targeted and assassinated journalists as part of a systematic campaign to silence the truth.”

The Associated Press also issued a statement, clearly showing that the agency is deeply shocked and saddened at the demise of Mariam Dagga, who was a visual journalist. Moaz Abu Taha and Ahmad Abu Aziz are also the victims of the recent attack.

Deadly scene after the attack on the hospital:

The footage after the explosion shows the smoke filling the air and the debris on the floor outside the hospital. The scene looks pathetic as Plestionians are rushing into the medical complex, uplifting the bodies of the deceased and the wounded.

People carried the corpses of the journalists at the hospital, wrapped in white burial shrouds, and their press jackets rested on top, showing the truthfulness, dedication, and unwavering power of the martyrs in the tough time.
