ISPR is in action and Detained several retired military officers
ISPR recently added a statement that aroused people’s curiosity in the General Faiz Hameed case. Recently, he was detained by the Army due to several charges against him. Earlier, no evidence supported the charges against him, but now the military has received proof that claims he is guilty of various crimes. The prominent charge against him is his disloyalty towards his responsibilities for political benefits. In 2023, the Top city owner, Moeez Ahmad Khan, filed a petition against him. According to Moeez, Faiz Hameed misused his power.
He further added that in 2017, ISI officials, on Faiz Hameed’s orders, raided his office and house. They raided his house and office without any consent from the higher authorities. While raiding, he claimed officials stole jewels, gold, and money. Moreover, he claimed that General Faiz Hameed had personally met him in which Faiz Hameed promised that ISI would return his valuable assets except 400 tolas of gold and cash. ISPR made a statement in which it pointed out many retired officers and accomplices of Faiz Hameed in committing heinous crimes. These people are responsible for the disputes or the instability in Pakistani politics. ISPR affirmed that the prosecution against these culprits has started and soon they will taste what they have sown.

The military media did not highlight the names and the ranks of the detained culprits in the military. It is said that the arrested officers are 2 brigadiers and 1 colonel. These people joined hand in hand with Faiz Hameed in committing the crime. General Syed Asim Munir invited several retired military officers to take confidence in the recent arrest of Faiz Hameed and the military proceedings against him. The announcement of various officers came after this invitation. General Qamar Javed Bajwa was not present at the meeting.
Analysts thought he could be involved with Faiz, but the speculations died when the news spread that General Qamar was not in the country at the time of the thirteen Fatimae meeting. The military media stated that the inquiry against these personnel was started as per the orders of the Supreme Court. We have initiated proceedings against him under the Pakistan Army Act. A committee is constituted to navigate the allegations against him. In an informal interview with the PTI chief, when the interviewer asked him about the arrest of Faiz Hameed, he said it was an internal matter of the Army. He has nothing to do with the matter.
