Google has formally introduced its AI Plus Plan in Pakistan, providing users all around the country with cutting-edge AI tools and services in a significant step toward the digitization of the nation.

Sources in the government claim that the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), which is still vital in advancing Pakistan’s technical development and drawing in international digital investments, supported the launch of the program.

The goals of the Google AI Plus Plan are to provide access to AI-powered technologies, encourage innovation, and improve educational and creative capacities in a variety of industries. With availability of “Gemini 2.5 Pro, the Veo 3 Fast video model, and complete Gemini integration, customers can investigate cutting-edge AI applications in business, education, and content production”.

Meanwhile “200 GB of cloud storage and a number of additional premium services will be provided to subscribers, who may choose to combine their plan with up to five other people under a single membership”. The introduction is in line with Pakistan’s larger vision of a technology-driven economy, as the government has made encouraging the adoption of AI, digital education, and professional training a top priority.

Google and Pakistan are collaborating to increase “access to state-of-the-art artificial intelligence (AI) tools and online learning materials, equipping professionals, entrepreneurs, and students with 21st-century capabilities”.

According to officials, the partnership is anticipated to further maintain Pakistan’s digital infrastructure, foster innovation, and assist the nation in making a significant transition to a knowledge-based economy with the ongoing support of SIFC.
