According to the Inter-Services Public Relations Wing, on Wednesday that 8th of October 2025, (11) Pakistani soldiers, notably two officers, were martyred while (19) Indian-backed militants were slain throughout Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) in Orakzai, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Security personnel in Orakzai carried out an intelligence-based operation against the Indian-sponsored proxy network “Khawarij”, corresponding to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

ISPR stated that “Lieutenant Colonel Junaid Arif, Major Tayyab Rahat, and (9) other” courageous soldiers accepted martyrdom after (19) Indian-backed terrorists were killed during a fierce gunfight.

  • Sepoy Tufail Khan (28 years old, living in District Malakand).
  • Sepoy Aqib Ali (23 years old, living in District Swabi).
  • Sepoy Muhammad Zahid (24 years old, living in District Tank).
  • Naib Subedar Azam Gul (38 years old, living in District Khyber).
  • Naik Adil Hussain (35 years old, living in District Kurram).
  • Naik Gul Ameer (34 years old, living in District Tank).
  • Lance Naik Sher Khan (31 years old, living in District Mardan).

According to ISPR, a “clearance operation” is in progress to get eliminate of any last militants in the region. It further stated that the nation’s commitment against all types of militancy is strengthened by the soldiers’ sacrifices and that the security forces are still committed to eliminating Indian-sponsored terrorism.
