On Wednesday 22nd of October 2025, (2) police officers were killed after unidentified attackers opened fire on them in the Noshki district of Balochistan.

Armed individuals targeted police officers on daily patrol duty in the area of the Eastern Bypass. Both officers died instantly from multiple gunshot wounds, according to police officials.

After the gunshot, those responsible for the murder were able to escape the area. For medico-legal processes, the martyred officers’ bodies were moved to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital. In order to find the attackers, security personnel have roped off the area and started a search.

In addition Balochistan is Pakistan’s pride, according to Field Marshal and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir, who also stated that the province’s patriotic citizens are strong and resilient, according to the ISPR.

Speaking to attendees of today’s 17th National Workshop Balochistan at General Headquarters (GHQ), General Syed Asim Munir outlined the federal and provincial governments’ projects for development aimed at improving Balochistan’s socioeconomic situation using an approach that puts people first.

Syed Asim Munir said that the people of Balochistan can benefit from limitless economic capabilities and he urged the youth to play their role for development and durable stability.

He said that civil society has a vital role in the progress of the youth. Indian-sponsored ‘Fitna-ul-Hind’ and ‘Fitna-al-Khawarij’ are propagating anti-people propaganda while they are also fueling violence, he apprised.

The COAS said that “every necessary measure would be taken for the eradication of terrorist proxies”.
