Cold and icy weather is brought to the Gilgit Baltistan region by snowfall on the mountains. Snowfall in Gilgit Baltistan’s Diamer and Chilas districts has left a white blanket of snow in its wake.

As the temperature drops, Mansehra’s Kaghan Valley also saw its 1st snowfall of the winter season. There has been (6) inches of snowfall on Babusar Top thus far. Snow has also fallen on “Saif ul Malook Lake, Batta Kundi, Jelkhad, Besar, Koh-e-Safaid, and Noori Top”.

According to accounts, Kalam experienced a sharp drop in temperature following the 1st snowfall of the winter. Due to excessive snowfall, “Babusar Top and Babusar Pass” are typically blocked from “November to June” each year.

Located “13,700 feet” above sea level, Babusar Top is a well-known tourist destination. Babusar Pass is the preferred route for tourists visiting Gilgit-Baltistan because of the beautiful scenery and pleasant weather.
