MOSCOW: On Wednesday, the Kremlin said that the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Summit is Unprecedented. Many countries have been called out in the Summit, including India, to foster the relationship ties against the US’s strict tariffs.

World leaders are called to strengthen ties with China:

The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Summit is expected to start from August 31 to September 1. Many countries have been invited to attend the summit. It includes leaders from Central Asia, the Middle East, South Asia, and Southeast Asia.

The step to invite the leaders across the globe is taken to strengthen the ties with them. The coming era saw the US unstoppable and increased tariffs on countries like India, which is a planned effort to suppress the progress of the countries that go against the will of the US.

Narendra Modi is also expected to visit China in more than 7 years. Since 2020, China and India have been strong enemies of each other. The border clash between the two countries has stopped each other from making joint progress in various fields.

The summit is now seen as an opportunity to strengthen the ties between China and India. In last year’s BRICS summit in Russia, the Indian and Chinese main leaders met and the meeting ended on a positive note.

Initiation of China, India, and Russia trilateral progress:

Later, a few weeks ago, the Chinese foreign ministry visited India, and it is expected that the progress period between the two countries will start soon. The Russian embassy in New Delhi said that the trilateral relations between China, India, and Russia can be seen soon.

A Chinese research agency said, “Xi will want to use the summit as an opportunity to showcase what a post-American-led international order begins to look like and that all White House efforts since January to counter China, Iran, Russia, and now India have not had the intended effect.”

It is expected that Modi will depart soon, right after the summit. However, Putin is expected to stay on for the World War II military parade in Beijing this week. Moreover, in the same parade, China will also launch its new technological weapons in the parade.
