BEIJING: China’s President Xi Jinping visited Tibet for the 60th anniversary of Tibet as an autonomous region.

Xi Jinping visited Tibet:

In 1959, China’s ruling Communist Party established the autonomous Tibet region. The establishment of an independent and autonomous region is meant to celebrate the freedom of religious beliefs of minority communities of China.

Xi said to the Tibet official, “To govern, stabilise and develop Tibet, the first thing is to maintain political stability, social stability, ethnic unity and religious harmony.” The media cited XI’s saying in the news.

In July 2021, Xi last visited Tibet. In his last visit, he urged the people of Tibet to follow the Communist Party’s policies. He said, “Tibetan Buddhism must be guided to adapt to China’s socialist system.”

India-China border link:

The border of Tibet is connected to India. For many years, these countries were seen in huge clashes. The Himalayan region also possesses abundant natural resources, including immense hydropower potential.

In the same week, China’s Foreign Minister, Wang Yi, visited India. The two countries are now on the way towards positive bilateral connections. Soon, the world will see a huge transformation in the relationship between the decades-old rivals, China and India.

India and China are looking forward to developing strong economic ties. The relation has started its growth after Trump’s high tariffs were imposed on these nations. Due to these tariffs, these two nations are looking forward to unpaved more ways that would be helpful in furthering the progress of these nations.

China’s foreign ministry, however, gave a hint that the visit to India has remained fruitful. India’s Prime Minister’s visit is expected soon in the coming month. Though the interaction within these nations officially started in Russia last month, where both countries’ leaders exchanged talks for the first time after decades.
