An MOU Is Signed Between Palestine And Pakistan To Improve Medical Collaboration.

With the agreement of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Islamabad, Pakistan and Palestine have made significant progress in strengthening their bilateral ties in the field of health.
Senior health authorities witnessed the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Palestinian Ambassador and Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Health, Syed Mustafa Kamal.
The presence of the “Director General of Health, Additional Secretary of Health, and Federal Health Secretary Hamid Yaqoob” highlighted how important the collaboration is to both parties.
The Ministry of National Health Services claims that the purpose of the MoU is to improve professional training, cooperative research, and cooperation in advanced medical sectors. It is anticipated that the action will open up long-term opportunities to improve both nations’ healthcare systems.
During the event, Federal Minister Mustafa Kamal declared that a Pakistan-Palestine Health Working Group would be formed within the following (30) days. The group will supervise the MoU’s implementation and guarantee that its projects are carried out on schedule.
“With this agreement, a widespread engagement across medical specialties begins,” he stated.
These include “plastic surgery, endoscopic ultrasound, orthopedic surgery, organ transplantation, interventional cardiology, and burn care.”
Additionally, Pakistan would help Palestine strengthen its capabilities in “pharmaceutical development, ophthalmology, infectious illnesses, and cooperative medical research”. A crucial element of the deal is the provision of opportunities for training for Palestinian medical professionals at the best medical schools in Pakistan.
Federal Minister Mustafa Kamal stated, “This Memorandum of Understanding aims to promote closer cooperation for the improvement of the physical and mental wellness of the people of both brotherly nations.”
“We are dedicated to providing our Palestinian brothers and sisters with every form of support because the hearts of the Pakistani people are connected with Palestine.”
The Palestinian Ambassador thanked the Pakistani government and praised the initiative. He stated that Pakistan’s consistent cooperation in the political, emotional, and now medical areas is greatly valued by Palestine. “Pakistan and Palestine are friendly nations.” We will be in touch together to promote our peoples’ physical and emotional well-being,” he said.
The deal, officials pointed out, is a realistic model for collaboration rather than simply symbolic actions. It expects to have a direct positive impact on both countries’ healthcare systems by facilitating the sharing of information and experience.
