Earthquakes Tremble Throughout Islamabad, Punjab, And KP.

According to sources on Friday’s Morning 26th of September 2025, which reports the Seismological Center, there were earthquake vibrations detected throughout Pakistan.

According to details, portions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab, such as “Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and the surrounding districts”. Tremors were also reported to have occurred in “Peshawar, Upper Dir, Bisham, Attock, Chitral, and Swat”.

The Seismological Center reports that the “195-kilometer-deep” earthquake had a “Richter scale value of 5.5”. The Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan was the epicenter.

An earthquake affected Islamabad, portions of Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa earlier in September. The National Seismic Monitoring Center reports that the earthquakes started in Afghanistan’s Hindu Kush region and reached a depth of “111 kilometers”.

“Peshawar, Abbottabad, Malakand, Mardan, Hangu, Nowshera, Battagram, Swat, Bajaur, Mohmand, Buner, Attock, Mianwali, and Gujranwala were also affected by the earthquake.”

According to scientists, there is constant tectonic activity in the area because of Pakistan’s closeness to the intersection of the Indian and Eurasian plates, and these tremors come after a series of previous shocks.
