At the Guddu and Sukkur barrages, the Indus River has been with little flood, but the water range is continuously rising at Kotri Barrage and has been in intermediate flood.

Low-lying parts of “Sehwan and Manjhand” have been flooded, and dozens of villages have been affected, causing residents to evacuate. There are concerns that the water may have an impact on the railway track because it is visible on both sides of the route.

The water inflow reading at Kotri Barrage has surpassed “four lac to 4,07,214 cusecs”, meanwhile the outflow has been “3,80,159 cusecs”, indicating that the Indus River has been experiencing medium floods.

The barrage control room reports that the water coming in at “Guddu Barrage above was 2,01,487 cusecs, whereas its discharge was 1,72,224 cusecs”.

At “Sukkur Barrage, the water flows in and out have been measured at 1,99,939 and 1,44,909 cusecs”, respectively. Based to the FFD, the water flows of the “Indus, Chenab, and Ravi rivers” in Punjab have returned to normal, however the “Sutlej River has seen low flood at the Islam headworks, Sulemanki, and Ganda Singh Wala”. According to FFD, the water flow in Sutlej is steadily decreasing.
