Citizens of several cities in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa experienced panic as a result of partial earthquake shocks, according to sources.
The National Seismic Monitoring Center reports that the earthquake lasted nearly ten seconds and had a Richter scale magnitude of (5.3). Citizens hurried from their homes and places of employment in fear for their safety as a result of the tremors.
Many Places Have Experience Earthquake
As per details, “Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Chakwal, Swat, Peshawar, Malakand, Mansehra, Hangu, and the neighboring districts” were also reported to have experienced earthquake shocks.
According to other reports, there has been confirmed seismic activity in the following locations: “Mardan, Nowshera, Bannu, Buner, Kohat, Charsadda, Attock, Talagang, Kallar Kahar, Choa Saidan Shah, Gujranwala, and Jhang”.

Roughly Depth 110 Kilometer
Similarly, the earthquake vibrations were felt in “Parachinar, Lower Dir, South Waziristan, and Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir”. At a depth of roughly (110) kilometers, the epicenter of the earthquake has been found in the Hindu Kush mountain range.
Thankfully, no reported deaths or property damage have been reported thus far. The public has been warned to stay vigilant for possible aftershocks, and authorities are keeping a close eye on the situation. However, no significant incidents resulting from these shocks have been reported.
