COAS Visits Turbat To Improve Balochistan’s Condition

On Saturday, Radio Pakistan reported that Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir visited Turbat and expressed the military’s unwavering support in re-establishing Balochistan’s peace.
A way towards peace in Balochistan:
The government of Pakistan has shown its concern toward Balochistan multiple times. There is a lack of infrastructure seen in Balochistan. Moreover, the law and order situation is also very weak.
In June, Shehbaz Sharif also said that Balochistan needs utmost priority right now. That is why the government has now focused much on its development.
According to the ISPR, Asim Munir visited Turbat and met with Balochistan’s Chief Minister, Sarfaraz Bugti and the representatives of the Turbat civil administration.
The statement read, “The visit aimed to review the prevailing security situation, assess development initiatives, and reinforce coordination between military and civil institutions for the stability and prosperity of Balochistan. There is a need for good governance, infrastructure development, and the importance of inclusive, people-centric progress.”
Recent development and troop’s appreciation:
Asim Munir expressed that the civil-military struggles will be fruitful in the socio-economic development of Balochistan. General Asim Munir also talked about the army’s motive to “stand shoulder to shoulder with the people of Balochistan in their pursuit of peace, prosperity and sustainable development.”
He also gave a briefing about the recent development in the province including the strict security system like successful operations against Fitna al Hindustan.
General Asim Munir also praised the efforts of the troops in maintaining peace in the region. He “appreciated their high morale, operational readiness, and unflinching commitment to safeguarding national sovereignty”.
