CHINA: On Wednesday, officials confirmed that China is all set to demonstrate its military hardware in next month’s parade, saying it will help China to stand in the modern war.

The Chinese President, along with the Russian President and other world leaders, is expected to attend next month’s mega event.  The event is meant to revitalize the 80-year-old World War II. It is expected that the President will inspect troops in Beijing’s Tiananmen Square.

In a prolonged war, many Chinese lost their lives. In the 1930s and 40s, Imperial Japan started this oppression that later became part of the global crisis, especially Tokyo’s attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941.

In recent years, the ruling communist parties have organised many events that are meant to remember the sacrifices of the people involved in war. An official at China’s military commission, Major General Wu Zeke, confirmed that China will present its modern wartime equipment.

He said, “Modern equipment reflects the evolution of modern warfare. All of the weapons and equipment taking part in this review were selected from domestically produced, currently active main battle systems, with a significant proportion being newly unveiled equipment.”

The general said that the next month’s parade will significantly showcase their military strength. It will show that China is ready to combat the modern-day war crisis with any other nation. He also added that the parade also involves ground troops marching in formation, armoured columns, aerial echelons, and other high-tech fighting gear.”

The presence of the Russian President is confirmed in the event, while Chinese officials also affirmed the presence of other world leaders. It is worth noting that China has the world’s second-largest military budget.
