Reports state that there was light rain in several locations, particularly “Gulshan-e-Hadeed, Clifton, Malir, Airport, Shahrah-e-Faisal, Scheme 33, Safoora Goth, and Gulshan-e-Iqbal”. There were additional reports of drizzle in “Saddar, Manzoor Colony, Defence, and Mehmoodabad”.

In certain places, the mild showers made the weather pleasant, and traffic movement was unaffected. The level of relative humidity on Sunday 17th of August was (57 percent in the evening and 82 percent in the morning).

Whereas Tuesday 19th of August, is predicted to bring largely cloudy weather to the city, with the possibility of thunderstorms, rain, and a few strong to isolated heavy downpours. Low-lying areas are at risk of floods and water logging, according to the notice.

In “Jacobabad and Dadu, the temperature reached 42.5°C, followed by Khairpur (42°C), Larkana (41.5°C), Mohenjo Daro and Rohri (41°C), Sukkur (40.5°C), Sha­h­eed Benazirabad (40.4°C), Paddidan and Sakrand (39.5°C), Chhor 39°C, Tandojam and Hyderabad (38.5°C), and Mirpurkhas and Mithi (38°C)”, according to the department’s data. The Met Office reports that powerful monsoon currents are affecting the majority of the province.
