In the meantime, it is predicted that the weather will continue to be cloudy at times with strong winds for the next “24 hours”.

A maximum temperature of “36°C” is predicted by the Meteorological Department for today, along with a “75%” level of moisture while “10 km/h” winds coming from the southwest.

It is important to note that the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) released an advisory to the expected rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds that were expected to occur in various regions of the nation from “June 20th to June 23rd”.

Hilly Areas Affected By Weather

A new wave of “rain, strong winds, and thunderstorms is expected to hit Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa” at that time, hence the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) advised taking precautions.

Even in the previously described “areas, weak trees, mud structures, and weak buildings are at risk from strong winds, dust storms, and thunderstorms”.

People Should Care

The public has been advised by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) to park their cars in safe, covered locations. It also advised people to be on guard because poor visibility during storms and high winds might cause accidents.

All relevant institutions have been instructed by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) to have the required plans in place to handle any potential emergency.

In the meantime, the Pak National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Disaster Alert App encourages the public to stay updated on meteorological conditions and possible dangers.
