Roadside Bomb in Lakki Marwat Pakistan kills 7 Soldiers
An improvised explosive device (IED) targeting their vehicle in the village of Lakki Marwat resulted in the deaths of 7 security officers, which involved an army captain. Meanwhile, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police defeated a pre-dawn attack at their check post in Bajaur. The car was going to the Kaichi Kamar region when it was attacked close to Sultankhel village, which borders the Mianwali district of Punjab, according to the authorities there. “In Lakki Marwat District, an IED destroyed a security personnel vehicle,” the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.

According to detail (26-year-old Captain Muhammad Faraz Ilyas, a citizen of Kasur) / (50- year-old Subedar Major Muhammad Nazir from Skardu) / (34-year-old Lance Naik Muhammad Anwar from Ghanchi) / (36-year-old Lance Naik Hussain Ali from Ghizer) / (33- year-old Sepoy Asadullah from Multan) / (27-year-old Sepoy Manzoor Hussain from Gilgit) / and (31-year-old Sepoy Rashid Mehmood from the Rawalpindi district) were among those who accepted martyrdom, according to the military’s media unit. Continuing that the security forces were committed to stopping the threat of terrorism and that the sacrifices made by such brave enough soldiers contributed to their dedication, the ISPR stated, “Cleanliness of the area is currently being carried out so as to remove any terrorists visible in the area and those involved of this horrible crime will be brought to justice.”
Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur, as well as Governor Faisal Karim Kundi of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, have both strongly criticized the attack on military personnel in the Shahab Khel region of the district Lakki Marwat. The statement claims that as forces came, a number of police officers stationed at the post reacted to the attack. According to a top justice department official, the police have started an inquiry into the incident with the goal of identifying the attackers and facilitators.
