Eid holidays will be announced after the announcement of the Zil Hajj moon sighting by the federal and provincial governments. On the other hand, a new prediction regarding the possible date of Eid-ul-Adha in the country has come out. According to the Department of Meteorology, the birth of the moon will be at 5:38 p.m. on June 6. The moon must be 19 hours old for it to be visible, so the moon of Dhul-Hajj will likely be visible in the country on June 7, and it will be set on that day. Aftab is expected to occur at 7:20 p.m., making the moon visible for up to 72 minutes after sunset, and there is a strong possibility that Eid al-Adha will happen in the country on Monday, June 17. The final announcement of the date will be made by the central Sighting of the Crescent Committee after the sighting of the Zil-Hijjah moon.

Meanwhile, Al-Arabiya News reported that the International Astronomy Center has expected that the date of Eid al-Adha in 2024 will be different in the Islamic world. Many countries will see the Zil-Hijjah moon on Friday, June 7. It is possible to see the moon with open eyes, so in all these countries, the 1st Zul Hajj will be on Saturday, June 8, and Eid al-Adha on Monday, June 17. According to this calculation, the first day of 10 Zul Hajj or Eid al-Adha will be on Monday, June 17, or Tuesday, June 18.

The Center further informed that in the majority of Islamic countries, the month of Dhul-Qa’dah begins on Thursday, May 6, and if these countries see the moon of Dhul-Hajj on Thursday, June 6, then the first Dhul-Hajj will be on June 8 or June 9. June 16 or Monday, June 17. As the moon will set a few minutes after sunset in the Center and west of the Islamic world on Thursday, June 6, it is unlikely that the moon will be visible, and the 1st of Dhu al-Hajj will be Friday the 7th. June and Eid-ul-Adha on Sunday, June 16, are expected to be negligible
