Pakistan Railways CEO explains planning for Eid-ul-Fitr 2024 trains
Pakistan Railways Chief Executive Officer Amir Ali Baloch stated on Thursday, March 28, 2024, that the railway company will look at minimizing prices for Eid-ul-Fitr 2024-specific trains to allow people to go back home. In this manner, the Railways of Pakistan has planned four special trains, including two scheduled to leave Karachi earlier than Eid-ul-Fitr 2024.
On April 7, the (1) special train is scheduled to leave Karachi for Peshawar, while the (2) will travel to Lahore. On April 7, another (3) train was scheduled to leave Quetta for Rawalpindi. On April 9, the (4) specific train will travel from Lahore to Karachi, allowing citizens to return home and celebrate this happy event with their families.

According to Amir Ali Baloch, CEO of Pakistan Railway, the ‘Premium Lounge‘ on the Bahauddin Zakariya Express is increasing in popularity among travelers. The department plans to expand the lounge to include the Tezgam and Hazara Expresses. “The dining vehicle can seat 45 people at a time, and the menu includes more than 40 food items. A microwave is available for freshly made roti, BBQ, and pizza.”
Furthermore, the CEO of Pakistan Railways confirmed that the issues with employee salary postponement have been fixed, along with the fact that the department is also trying to fix pension and payment difficulties.
Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, recently said that Eid-ul-Fitr 2024 would probably occur on April 10, 2024, in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. According to Maulana Azad, scientific studies show that the Shawwal Crescent moon would most likely be seen on the 29th day of Ramadan in 2024. Following 2024, Pakistanis will observe a 29-day Ramadan and then celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr on April 10 if the crescent moon is visible on April 9.
